Routine.. Training at kallang as usual. Seems that this format of play, first to 21 shots, is taking its toll on me.
Mental stamina, not there.
Well, got beaten today. felt pretty rubbishy after that, on top of not being able to see my dear for what.. 10 days? Ambled my way to dinner with the rest anyways, who incindentally were 2 couples.
Rubbish mood. Bleh.
Had this steamboat dinner thing tucked away in the basement of golden mile complex.. Expensive it was, $13 bucks to be exact. Thought it could have been better. Like the one near Bugis/Bras Basah. The bulk of it was seafood.. and the only seafood I eat is fish. So.. gobbled up the chicken and kangkong, along with the only meat in the steamboat platter; few slices of pork.
Went a bit of childhood reminiscing after that. Headed alone to the Thai supermarket nearby, the one which smells a bit funky as soon as you step into the air-conditioned complex. When I was younger, I used to frequent this place, digging up products you'll never see anywhere else in Singapore. Didn't buy much this visit.. just a few odd groceries.
Its quite unlikely, but I actually found some nice tee shirts sold there in part of their departmental store section. Graphic tees going for only 9.90; not the poor quality pasar malam shirts mind you; they're actually pretty good looking. They stock quite nice jackets and casual coats too, if you're interested. It ends there tho, the rest of the clothing department is stocked with rubbish wares.
Only day one, and i'm feeling the pinch. Never felt like this before.
