In the wake of all that's happened, and all that's happening, I've seen more than just a few ruffled feathers in the flock. Made me think for a good bit about why I'm still here.
#2? So what? What does second place promise me? Starting position? Fame? Skill?
We've still got a long way to go.. and a lot of work to do before we get anywhere.. Even when some people aren't making it any easier for us to attain that status. But in spite of that, we should be relooking at what we really want.. what we're ultimately aiming for. And to make that happen, we have to stick together and progress together no matter what comes at us.
Guys (you know yourselves. no need to mention any names), not sure if you'll see this entry anyway, but do find some time to meet up, and we can all have a good talk over this all. Let's work something out. Together.
